AWARDS--

On March 5, 2008, Ms. Pepper was recognized as one of the Maryland's Top 100 Women. Established by The Daily Record, this designation honors "high-achieving Maryland women who are making an impact through their leadership, community service and mentoring."

On May 7, 2003 Ms. Pepper was presented the Stanley S. Herr Award for Advocacy Leadership by The Arc of Baltimore, an organization that provides services to persons with developmental disabilities.

Ms. Pepper is also the recipient of the Founders' Circle Award for her "outstanding leadership and services in founding and developing the Community Law Center," a public interest law firm helping communities in Maryland (November 15, 2001).

Ms. Pepper has also received an award for her advocacy on behalf of individuals with mental illness from ReVisions, Inc. and ReVisions Foundation, Inc., an agency that serves people with mental illness (March 23, 1994).
